Well, that’s that then! Another season done and dusted apart from the
AGM (Saturday 2nd December 11.00am at the Shipwreck). Now lets get
Christmas and the New Year festivities out of the way and we can look
forward to the new season!
Having completed five seasons as Crow’s Nest editor putting together
fifteen editions I feel it is time for someone with fresh ideas to take over.
At least my successor won’t face the daunting prospect of replacing a
career journalist, editor and published author! An ability to muddle
through being all that I brought to the table!
I would like to thank all the contributors, not just for this edition but over
the entire five seasons of my editorship. Without your reports, articles
and photographs Crow’s Nest would not exist.
For the next edition – usually March /April there will not be any club trips
to report on so any articles of a technical nature or of general interest,
reports of your own trips etc. (perhaps from this years
circumnavigators?) will, I am sure, be welcomed for publication by the

committee members and event organisers so that the Club can continue
